Better get a post in!!

Yup I haven't posted in a while. Once I got back from holidays, it was pretty full on at work. I have just done 2 tuckerbox runs and have another 2 coming up over the next few days. More then 12 hours off between them would be really nice though. They are a bit squished together. I am getting heaps over that route, so it's a bit easier to learn, and I can sign off for it.

We did select a house. We are undergoing the trials of trying to get the paperwork in so it is under contract. Oops need to water the vegies today, Not being here is a pain, they are looking a little dry. Still working the kinks out the vegie garden.. literally. It has started to bulge a bit at the sides, so we have dug some soil out to take the strain off of it, and am hammering some more supports for the outside edge. If we need to later we can use rope or chain to pull the supports towards each other.

Chickens are all going well. The clucky ones are still clucky. Not sure how to cure them of that habit :( They are sitting in the box all day, makes it hard for the other chookies to lay thier eggs. I did find one underneath the roosting perch, that poor one obviously didn't make it to the nesting box!

Weather has been really nice. Not really much rain though, just brief storms every now and then. Everything is very green out here still. The crops look like they are doing great out in the paddocks. I'd better get moving, I have some work to do in the kitchen, I really need to get some goodies baked to take for work. I might try and find a recipie for museli bars, they are always yum to take. A small cake, or patty cakes. Also need a couple of bigger items for the meals, Stew, left overs etc. Mmmm making my mouth water. better get to it!!
