It is getting so hot here! the days have been scorching. Not a drop of rain either :( I have been very busy spring cleaning the house for an upcoming inspection. Doing decluttering while I am at it! After getting removalist quotes, we found we now own a lot of junk and it is time to whittle it down to more necessity items and have a big clean up.
The garden is almost empty, so sad, and over the next month I will pull the sides off it and spread the dirt over the lawn and level it out. The grass should come through quickly, it is very nice soil! We are still at a dilemma with how to move the chickens up there while we are moving with the dogs and where to put them while we set up a comfortable pen for them.
On the subject of the dogs, Tank the Houdini escaped under the fence last time and got to Rogue once, so while we are moving it seems we have puppies along for the ride. I estimate them to be around 6-7 weeks of age by the time we get there. We are certainly hoping for a small litter this time. Though she has become very rounded in the middle already!
Other then that things are plodding along slowly here really. I have to try and remember what day it is to try and keep track of time. We do enjoy our solitude, that's not to say we don't enjoy company when it does come around, we just don't seem to go out much anymore. Becoming more like hermits every passing year. I really have been slack on my blog and will certainly try to do better to keep it up to date with what has been happing under our small rock.
