Lots of rain.

Storm was pretty wild last night. Lots of rain, heard we got about 40mm, Lots of lightning and thunder. Was over pretty quick though like it always is. Mmmm had pie and vegies last night. Nothing special just mince beef bacon onion and gravy between pastry. Still tasted pretty good though.

Had some family drop by today. They're way on a road trip holiday. It was really nice to see them, even if they only stopped for a coffee. Hope they have a safe journey. We rarely see anyone where we are, not as easy to get to, so family are always welcome to stop by.

Was around the station today. Heard there had been a washout one of the tracks last night, so won't be driving trains that way until trackworkers can get it all fixed and up and running again. Will probably have to wait for the ground to dry out a bit too.
