Beanie is finished..

Well I finished the beanie this evening and couldn't wait to post it up. I hope it fits my niece, I will have to post it off and wait for the results of the fitting. It took less time then I thought it would, but less knitting I guess cause it is a little smaller then an adult one, not by much though.



Here we go, a pretty pink with small white trim beanie. Hopefully just the thing for a little girl. Now I will be able to move onto more dishcloths for my kitchen.

I managed to make peach jam today. No idea how it turned out yet, I was given about 2 kg of peaches, so I decided there had to be a recipe for peach jam some where, the internet is wonderful in that way, I managed to find one in seconds. I am going to have to invest in some shelving I think for all these types of items. Might have to ring bunnings and see what they have and I can get it shipped out. I also need something to store Paul's camping gear in, i keep tripping over it underneath the house.

I am hopefully going to finally uncover the BBQ tomorrow. There has been a large planter box ontop of it for a while and while it's not heavy box, it is long and awkard to lift off by myself. I am still on the lookout for ideas to keep the dogs out of the garden, for they still jump up there. Any ideas?? Anywhoo.. better get to cleaning my kitchen up so I can get off to bed.
