Well I have finished another shift. Took the passenger train to stop halfway and swap with a freight train , and bring that one back. Ended up running ahead of schedule which is a nice change. Back in the yard though, I hit the side of the shunt locomotive which was sitting in a siding, not in clear, waiting for the loading we were going to drop. I quickly gave it full brake and managed to stop the train before any wagons hit the shunt loco. Nothing serious happened, but I was a bit shaken up about it, it made me very jumpy. I was glad to be going home after that incident.
very scary!!!! sounds like it was the shunt loco driver's fault for being in the way

Yes it was the other drivers fault. But was only a small incident and I'm glad no one was hurt.
