I have been cooking up a storm. So far I think the meal planning is working. I only did one big shop, I still have heaps of food left. I did restock on thursday though for fruit and veg before the holidays started. The meal plan also makes it easy to have a healthy home cooked meal every night.
I have baked brownies every few days this week, they make great snacks for work. Last night I made some hot cross buns and they turned out pretty good. Got a bargain on seafood, everything was half price in the cabinet on thursday, so ended up with lots of prawns, 2 mangrove jack and a heap of bugs. Had one of the fish last night with salad and it was very nice. Going prawn and fish wipeout today. With hot cross buns for dessert!
Happy Easter everyone!
