Some new seeds have gone into the garden today, lettuce and bettroot. A few weeks ago I put in more baby carrot, shallots and wombok, these have already sprouted and doing well so far. A few marigold seeds that i threw around are coming up also. I think the tomatoes will be ready to pick soon, the bushes are becoming laden with them but none are ripening yet. I have put mint in a pot up the end of the garden. I decided not to directly plant it into the garden, it is too invasive and would most likely strangle the other herbs.
The chicken pen got a thorough clean out today and redusted to keep any little pests away. They girls seemd quite happy with thier nice clean pen, though I am sure they will dirty it up fast! The days seem so warm already, I think winter is pretty much finished out here. Only the first few cold snaps this year made for a pretty moderate winter really.
