The weather is changing..

Well the garden is now all gone and there is a huge smear of dirt across the backyard. I do hope the grass comes through fast. The soil was quite good so it is possible. The rain would have helped but I will be unable to mow any grass in the backyard with out kicking up a huge dust cloud.

I have started a serious declutter of all our belongings to help with the move. We certainly seem to have collected a lot of 'stuff' I don't know were the modern day ideal is to have so much stuff it clutters up our lives and it can really bog you down. I have found it difficult to get removalists quotes as we require such a large trailer to cart our larger items up north.

I did sit down and type up a basic list. It appears we don't have too much in the way of knick knacks but we have a lot of furniture, some of it is quite big too. The office seems to hold the most junk, so a serious clean out has been happening. The other culprit is underneath the house which gets a lot of junk mixed in with stuff and can become such a nightmare to clean up.

Also there are many odd things to take with us like star pickets, rolls of wire and some fence panels for the dogs safety. The verdit it, it adds up to a lot of STUFF! I am sure I could get rid of more if I am more ruthless. If it is not useful or makes me happy, why should I keep it?
