Rain, rain..

And more rain. Having been running around working out the issues with the water coming in under the house these last 2 days. Bought tubing and installed it under the downpipes to try to get the water away from the house. Also dug some shallow trenches to move water along away from the house in certain areas were it was washing down to the doorways. Current situation still has some water getting in but much better then the first few down pours we had. Almost could have sat in the boat and gone fishing in it I'm sure..

A small leak has sprung up inside near the front entry way. It is a very slow leak though and I think it is some flashing up against the house that is letting a bit of water in when the wind blows really hard. A plumber is coming tomorrow to give me a quote so it will hopefully be all fixed up soon. Also getting a quote for new guttering while he is here. Not looking forward to that one though.

Have now unpacked half of the office into the dining room until I get the sleep out all finished up. Considering all the rain we had the landscaping project and new guttering might have to be done first :( so sad. I will just have to save up to finish the other rooms as I go. Other odd boxes around the house have been emptied and cleaned up so the place is looking more like a home then ever. I am recylcling the boxes as I found someone moving shortly so always good to give something a new home instead of sending it to landfill.

The puppies are getting BIG! I have taken some photos but so busy today have been unable to download them. I will jump on tomorrow and upload them. Put in the advertisments for them yesterday so hopefully they will have nice homes to go to in the new year. Definately did not want to advertise before christmas or they might have been given as gifts and that is never a good idea for the dog.
