A stitch in time..

House work can be a drag.  Seriously I have spent the last couple of days trying to catch up with everything.  The dogs got a bath today which was sorely needed.  We all went for a walk on the beach yesterday, so the dogs were sandy and smelly.  Mountains of washing (how can 2 people wear so many clothes?) and all the other humdrum jobs that need to be done daily.  The puppies are getting so much older now.  I really do hope we can find them good homes soon.

I have finished doing a kitchen design.  The kitchen is such an odd shape with doors and windows and a weird corner cut out of it.  I think I am pretty happy with what I've managed to come up with and it should work out to be cost effective.  The kitchen will be installed in the future, I just had some spare time on my hands to sit down and work it out one night.

Running into town tomorrow.  Got lots to do and I am going to prize bingo with my friend which will be nice but an early start.  Have to make sure I have everything ready for the trip it is a fair drive I can't really duck home for something if I forget it!  Also get to pick up my Lawn mower which was put in the shop for repairs.  I really do hope they repaired it as the lawn is looking quite raggedy.

I am learning how to do embroidery and my first run was this.  I think it is called a sampler?  I just called it my practise run.

Vary basic I know but a chance to learn some new stitches and the feel of the embroidery floss.  Rhonda over at Down to Earth  has some lovely stitcheries and even some patterns available here for people to try.
