Time keeps rolling...

Seems to always roll on whether we are ready for it or not. This week has proven to be very busy and I have found myself getting behind in things. The housework, cooking and general duties around the house always seem to be the first to fall by the way side. I think it comes down to being unorganized. If I am organized, we get a nice healthy home cooked dinner, not take away. Yummy corned meat tonight with veggies and white sauce. Also I will have some nice left over meat for sandwiches. I should make it again or a roast more often. I will be making a better effort to keep the house tidy this week.


The weather threatened all day to rain but I did manage to dry the washing. I have done quite a few loads and yet there is still more to do. I can only hope it will hold off for a few more hours. I still haven’t managed to get the old fridge painted, however the paint will still be there when I get around to doing it. I have installed a gate at the top of our stairs to keep the dogs where we want to put them. This will also clean up our veranda where we have been using a cupboard while waiting for a gate. It looks much nicer now and I even got hinges that allow it to swing both ways and it closes behind itself. This will be great for when we have arm loads of items.
The puppies are getting so big already! They have almost tripled their size in a week. Rogue is being an excellent mother and I am sure they will all grow up healthy and strong. I should have some photos up over the next couple of days. Tank has seen the little pups and has been behaving himself well, he is still very curious about them and likes to poke his nose in for a look, Rogue doesn’t like it when he does though and chases him away!
