Herbs are in!

Herbs in the garden today. We also picked up some mushroom compost for $3 a bag. Threw some in the garden, the rest is going in a dark area to hopefully grow some cheap mushrooms.

Mowed the yard and used the clipping as mulch for the front garden. I am hoping this will help keep the weeds down around the poor trees so they can grow into a hedge. Got the line trimmer yesterday and it works great. Paid for a cultivator attachment to go on it, this works so well in the garden bed for turning over the soil and compost we throw in there. Definately makes tilling the dirt ready for planting much easier.
